Setting up a Camera and Tripod

Tripods offer stabilization and elevation for the camera,which allows the person filming to capture special shots more easily and effectively.

• The three legs of the tripod are adjustable and can be made longer or shorter.
• When extending the legs make sure all legs are the same height so shots aren't at an angle.
• The mounting head sits on the top of the tripods legs,this is where the camera/video camera is placed it is tightened in securely by the screw at the bottom of the mounting head.
• You can also adjust the tripod head to a certain angle by using the pivoting handle attached to the mount.
• To pan and tilt the camera the pivoting handle is used.
